Day 6 - The Dark Skies - Kevin

Slothitis is setting in after almost a week here. Life happens when it happens not a moment before, so get used to being patient in Costa Rica. And it's contagious. There is little to do here other than hike,  swim, lounge and decide which roadside soda to stop and eat. The sodas are roadside eateries like an upscale food truck, A permanent kitchen with some kind of shelter and picnic tables. Other than that you have very few other options for eating. Great one this evening, I order chips and guacamole dip and the chips where sliced deep fried bananas.

Dark skies, there is a migration of Turkey vultures happening now. Thousands and thousands of Vultures heading to South America and they all fly along the coast here to get there. As far as the eye could see either direction were vultures soaring on the thermals in all directions. A bizarre sight to behold.

Stephanie in her cocoon listening to the Howler Monkeys this morning.

Hike through the jungle to take sunrise pics this morning, need to leave earlier next time.

Why so crabby?

Bananas

Yikes Vultures everywhere!
